Career Trends MBA Students Should Know in 2022

In recent years, career opportunities for MBA aspirants have witnessed a transition. They are in high demand in the tech sector, with leading global tech giants pulling the maximum number of MBA graduates. According to career experts, MBA jobs are all set to boom in 2022, with lack of skills and uncertainty in the business environment.

With most organizations shifting to new business models in the midst of the pandemic, the demand is likely to be stronger. It is the best opportunity for all the aspiring MBA students to know about the emerging trends in 2022. Here is a chance to pick the best opportunities and the ones worth knowing about.

A rise in jobs for MBA graduates in tech firms

Amidst the pandemic and even when working from home, employees at technology companies can do their jobs without sacrificing productivity. Apple became the first company to be valued at more than 3 trillion US dollars recently.

To put things into perspective, their success during the pandemic has resulted in an increase in annual MBA hiring during this time period. In 2019, 80 percent of tech companies reported plans to hire MBAs, but by 2021, that figure had risen to 96 percent. This could be a boon for international students.

More jobs in the healthcare sector

The healthcare industry comes up with enormous opportunities in the midst of the ongoing pandemic. The industry’s demand extends beyond healthcare professionals, with an increasing role of MBA graduates in the healthcare sector. The foremost reason being the introduction of innovative technologies such as predictive and preventative healthcare. According to experts, healthcare and biotech were the top recruiters for MBA graduates last year, and this trend is expected to continue in 2022.

Consulting firms hire MBA grads

Consulting firms are frequently ranked among the best places to work in the world. The industry is one of the top three sectors for MBAs to enter after graduation, along with finance and tech. Being a consultant allows you to put everything you’ve learned during your MBA to use. You will work with clients on projects spanning multiple industries and functions, as well as in teams comprising colleagues from all over the world. While most MBA programs can help you get a job as a consultant, MBA consulting specialisations focus on this career path more closely, preparing you for a career in the industry.

Opportunities in inclusivity and diversity

Sustainability is high on the political agenda, and it is also becoming increasingly important in business, with experts predicting a job boom in the field.

According to reports, companies with above-average diversity in their leadership teams achieved higher levels of innovation. Diversity and sustainability, according to career experts, will be a major focus for MBA recruiters in 2022. Employers across industries are looking for candidates who demonstrate these core values.

Surge in product management roles

Product management roles are one area that has seen an increase in interest. As these marketing-focused positions are becoming increasingly popular among MBAs, companies in a variety of industries look to MBA programs for product managers.  Experts are of the opinion that the number of people applying for these positions has increased to the point where firms can be more selective and ask for or look at candidates who have specific product experience prior to coming into that role.

Choosing Right Research Topic

How to select the right research topic?

Choosing the right research topic is one of the most important decisions a student should make during his/her academic career. Writing an academic paper necessitates a certain set of skills and inclinations. The most difficult component of a good master’s program is finding the right approach and dedication to produce a contemporary relevant piece of research.

Try to keep your research topic:

  • Original
  • Inventive and intriguing
  • Recent and timely
  • Suit your specific interests
  • Ignite your curiosity for research

Look into options

You can usually build your study topic in one of two ways:

  • Make a unique study subject suggestion. This is the most prevalent option in the humanities, business, and law fields of study.
  • A supervisor will give you a selection of available study topics. This option isn’t always available, but in science and engineering, it’s the most prevalent.

Early on, talk to a possible supervisor about your ideas. They’ll be able to guide you which of these possibilities is best for you, as well as offer advice on how to write your research proposal.

How to come up with a unique research topic?

Here are some tips to guide you, if you want to suggest an original topic:

  • Find a subject that interests you by reading a variety of materials.
  • Become completely immersed in journal articles and theses related to your field.
  • Concentrate on a single research question. Be detailed, unique, and realistic about what you can accomplish.
  • Make an effort to be adaptable. Some of your initial ideas are likely to be challenged as your investigation progresses. If necessary, you may need to modify your question.
  • Make sure you are up-to-date on the latest advances in your industry. This will guarantee that your proposal is feasible and has not already been implemented.
  • Talk to a friend about research ideas. She or he may be able to help you narrow down your topic by bringing up topics that you hadn’t considered.
  • Consider the following questions: why, who, what, where, and when:
    • WHY did you choose the topic? What interests you about it? Do you have any opinion about the issues involved?
    • WHO are the sources of information on this topic? Who might publish information about it? Who is affected by the topic? Do you know of organizations or institutions that are connected with the topic?
    • WHAT are the most important questions about this topic? Is there a debate regarding the topic? Is there a wide range of subjects and viewpoints to consider?
    • WHERE does your topic matter most: at the local, national or international level? Is the topic affecting any specific locations?
    • WHEN is/was your topic important? Is this a current issue or one from the past? Do you wish to compare your subject to different eras?

The most crucial part is to keep you motivated during the journey. A supervisor’s position is also critical in order to keep you going. As a result, a good and effective topic is one that can be given with compelling arguments that are relevant to current practice.

Above all, keep the excitement always on!

Trends in Business Education 2022

Trends that will shape business education in 2022 and beyond

Influenced by the need for lifelong learning, the requirement for increased flexibility, and digitalization, business education programs are experiencing substantial changes and variances in content and format, whether they are led at institutions or companies.

Business education isn’t the same as it used to be. External influences have multiplied dramatically in the last two years, resulting in a full makeover.

Business education programs are designed to endure substantial adjustments and alterations in terms of content and format. They will broaden their reach and scope in a world where lifelong learning is important due to a fast-paced era in which skills have a shorter shelf life and learners’ expectations are shifting toward increasingly digitalized, interactive, and adaptable experiences.

To help you navigate this fast-changing world and make your journey easier, here are the important trends in business education.

New content to tackle contemporary challenges

Today’s learners require far more than business expertise, whether in corporations or higher education institutions. Interdisciplinary is the keyword here. To get practical knowledge of everything business, talents such as technology awareness, digital and soft skills, knowledge of societal issues such as climate action, diversity, and equity should be incorporated in business education programs.

As per reports, 66% of business school decision-makers asserted that their programs had been amended to ensure they offer the latest information to students on the significance of business management in helping to tackle climate change and other significant issues.

Apart from digital skills, soft skills are becoming increasingly relevant in organizations. They are not yet capable of being replaced by technology and are required for any job function, regardless of role, organization, or industry.

One of the most important abilities for prospering in the face of uncertainty and constant change is soft skills. According to LinkedIn, 9 out of 10 that L&D professionals now use are represented by soft skills.

New formats for flexible business education

Business education in future will be more flexible, with no ties to a set location, timing, or structure. The one-size-fits-all education model will be phased out in favour of a wide range of programs and learning routes, including short courses, non-degree programs, certificates, and micro learning.

As lifelong education becomes compulsory, adult learners who cannot study full-time will need specific programs that will allow them to reskill and upskill.

Organizations and institutions must develop flexible, shorter, and focused programs for those learners who mix full-time jobs and families with learning. Younger generations entering university, business schools, or the job market will seek different learning experiences than their elders: virtualized, flexible, interactive, and collaborative.

Virtual and hybrid learning

Virtual learning can be done effectively and efficiently using computer-based resources, without a traditional classroom atmosphere. It can be either asynchronous or synchronous in nature (live).

Synchronous virtual learning can be enabled through purpose-built solutions, such as virtual classrooms.

Asynchronous virtual learning can be done in a number of ways – recordings, eBooks, discussion boards, etc.- with a clearly accepted method being mobile learning. It can be enabled by adjusting existing content and platforms to be mobile friendly or creating mobile-first learning experiences. The latter, enabled by mobile applications, will allow micro learning on the go, efficiently and interactively.

Hybrid learning or blended learning, encompasses a mix of onsite and online, synchronous and asynchronous methods of learning.

It can combine live sessions in a traditional classroom, hybrid classroom (some participants onsite, some online), or virtual classroom with asynchronous methods, both virtual and analog, such as mobile learning or pre-recorded videos, as well as presentations, books, cheat sheets, and other materials.

Hybrid learning will become more fluid in 2022 as new technologies enable learners to fluidly switch between face-to-face education and an immersive virtual reality. Some deans are even speculating about the creation of a metaverse for business education.

To conclude, new technological trends are clearly transforming the educational landscape in terms of teaching and learning methods. Learning has grown more convenient and accessible, and aspirations have risen as well.

Every crisis has a solution, thanks to modern technology and new educational trends. Learners are able to continue their studies virtually. Something like this could not have been imagined not long ago.

Exeed College with its innovative online MBA programs is transforming the lives of aspiring learners and preparing them to be leading innovators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

Biggest Business Trends 2022

Biggest business trends in 2022

There are  global shifts and challenges to deal with, such as climate change and shifting political and economic power. As our world is changing fast, organizations must learn to adapt it accordingly. There is rapid transformation across all industries. The major trends provide an overview of evolution of business operations to meet the demands of an ever-changing world.

Sustainable resilient operation

Accelerating supply chain decarbonization is a good start however, farsighted companies look beyond supply chain to improve sustainability across business operations. By having a resilient approach, organizations can practise sustainability, which is key to success. Ignoring the same hinders the growth.

The right balance with humans and robots

We now have increasingly capable robots and artificial intelligence (AI) systems that can perform tasks that humans used to do. Employers are now faced with a critical question: how do we strike a balance between intelligent machines and human intelligence? What roles should machines be given? Which roles do humans excel at? Without a doubt, automation will have an impact on every industry, so business leaders must prepare their organization to embrace change.

The shifting talent and changing employee experience

The way we work is evolving with more young people entering the workforce, more freelancers, and more remote workers. Studies show that traditional full-time employment will become a thing of the past as organizations shift to hiring people on a contract basis – with those people working remotely.

Flatter, agile organizations

Generally, organizations have been very hierarchical and inflexible in their structures. However, that trend is changing as leaders recognise the need for flatter, more agile structures that enable the business to quickly make alterations to teams and respond to change. It is also a reaction to the changing nature of work, specifically the upsurge in freelance and remote workers. This is the era of flatter organizational structures, more akin to flexible communities than a top-down pyramid structure.

Authenticity with consumers

These days, consumers are looking for a more meaningful connection with brands. As a result of this need for connection, authenticity has emerged as a business trend. Authenticity fosters human connections because, as humans, we like to see brands and business leaders show important human qualities such as honesty, dependability, empathy, compassion, humility, and perhaps even a bit of vulnerability and fear.

Purposeful business

Linked to authenticity, this trend is all about ensuring your business exists to fulfil an important commitment – and not just provide profits to shareholders. The intention defines why the organization exists. Importantly, a powerful objective has the promise of transformation or striving for something better – be it a better world, a better way to do something, or whatever is important to your organization.

Form of Financing

The way companies generate money is also changing. New platforms and mechanisms have come up to connect organizations with investors and donors. Think of crowdfunding, initial coin offerings (ICOs), tokenizations, and special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). Many of these new methods are driven by decentralized financial movements. In the decentralized financial movement,  financial services such as borrowing and transactions are carried out in a peer-to-peer network via a public decentralized blockchain network.

The way businesses and workers operate is shifting at a pace quicker than ever before, thanks to major global challenges and technological advances. These trends will have a significant impact on businesses in 2022 and the years beyond.

Project Based Learning

Personalised project-based learning for academic excellence

Read the material, memorise answers and ace the exams. Many people grew up learning this formula. Project-based learning activities flip that model on its head in order to personalise education and give it a practical edge.

Project-based learning, also known as PBL, is a student-centered approach to education that is based on the belief that students learn better through active participation and experiences.

PBL moves away from the teacher-centered model and encourages students to learn through activity. Students’ questions and creativity are used to guide the instruction. By actively participating in PBL, students can gain knowledge and skills that will help them in college and in life further. It is also a fantastic opportunity for educators and students to excel outside of the classroom.

In classrooms, PBL allows teachers to build relationships with students by serving as their coach, facilitator, and co-learner. The model also provides teachers with opportunities to build relationships with their colleagues and members of the larger community both in and out of the classroom.

The method does not approach learning as a subject-by-subject process. Because real-world problems are rarely solved with a single subject, project-based learning is frequently interdisciplinary. In order to navigate the PBL experience, students learn and apply knowledge from multiple subject areas.

Project-based learning is more complex and involved because it is not focused on recalling memorised information but rather on application. There are numerous project-based learning examples available for teachers to explore, ranging in duration and subject matter.

It is an excellent way to inspire creativity because it involves students working for extended periods of time on a complex project that is ideally relevant to a real-world challenge or question. They can do it individually or as a group.

For example, if the project were to build a garden as a class, this could involve:

  • Planning the garden layout to scale, using design software (IT and mathematics)
  • Investigating which wildlife is attracted to which flowers and how flowers are pollinated (biology)
  • Creating a garden, digging and filling pots (Physical Education)
  • Researching the role of gardens throughout history (history/culture)
  • Reading about the depictions of nature in literature/or the work of nature poets (English literature/language)
  • Cooking with the garden produce (food technology)

If your students are having difficulty in finding a stimulating subject, project-based learning that integrates it with other subjects can be beneficial.

The PBL tasks give students the opportunity to make use of technology, including any tools and applications.

Students’ research becomes more complex and meaningful as they seek solutions through a variety of means. PBL increases innovation by broadening the scope of students. Rather than perceiving subjects as separate entities, they get the chance to integrate their skills in order to provide meaningful answers to their questions.

PBL encourages students to take on real-world challenges and fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.

To influence project-based learning ideas and build your teaching skills for the classrooms of the future, consider joining the online teacher education programs offered by Exeed College in collaboration with premium, global universities.

The programs allow you to earn your degrees/qualifications in just a short period of time and are designed to fit the schedule of working teachers. The curriculum is designed with advanced topics that will prepare you to create meaningful learning experiences.

Thesis Report for MBA Students

Why is the thesis report mandatory for MBA students?

A master’s degree in business administration can open doors to various jobs in accounting, health care or other business administration, marketing, risk management, investment banking, human services, and research analysis, as well as providing a solid foundation for starting your own firm. The specific MBA requirements vary by institution; some need a thesis, while others do not, and some allow students to select.

A thesis is a study report/research paper that is often based on a student project. The thesis usually takes many semesters to complete and replaces a minimum of six credits of coursework, which is usually spaced out over a year. Most colleges require prerequisite seminars in business and research methodologies because the thesis is usually the pinnacle of a student’s experience. To choose a topic and progress toward the final paper, students usually work closely with an adviser or committee.

MBA students might explore a specific concept or element inside the industry and submit their findings in a published form by writing a thesis. Students receive experience in research, methodology, synthesis, assessment, and communication as a result of the procedure. After graduation, the finished item serves as a demonstration of these abilities to potential employers. The MBA thesis is supposed to provide fresh light on concepts or approaches, potentially suggesting other business models or implications of present parts of the subject.

Choosing a thesis topic can help you make it more relevant to your studies and future profession. The most acceptable topics have a foundation in current research to build on but have not been addressed in depth, have business value, are narrow enough to complete within the program’s timetable, and connect to various areas within the business field. How privatization applies to a certain industry, how a corporation might make marketing better, the effects of existing strategies on an organization, and what a corporation can do to go green are all possible themes.

Schools that do not require a thesis or that allow students to select between a thesis and non-thesis degree path may substitute business coursework or other authorized graduate-level electives for the paper. Some MBA programs allow students to produce papers based solely on research or to choose a non-thesis assignment. Students can use these alternatives to build business-oriented research projects like feasibility studies or organizational problem-solving solutions and witness the results without having to write a paper.

In a nutshell

The number of students pursuing an MBA has risen steadily over time. Students are also more likely to switch between undergraduate programs and pursue an MBA afterwards. This increases the number of students competing for a restricted number of positions. As a result, the stakes are already very high. So, what will make it stand out in the marketplace? Your thesis report, in addition to your professional experience and overall application, as well as your ability to study, plays a significant role in helping you stand out from the crowd.

One of the most important and well-researched documents in an MBA program will be the thesis report. Students must view thesis writing as an opportunity to learn and as a means of outlining their future career aspirations. They should make every attempt to produce the work on time; with flawless English, a clear delivery style, and a persuasive tone. If your thesis meets all these requirements, it will surely become a feather in your cap and leave a lasting impression on your employer.

Write Dissertation

How To Write A Dissertation Or Thesis: 8 Steps

A dissertation or thesis is likely to be the longest and the most difficult piece of work a student has ever completed. It can, nevertheless, be a really fulfilling piece of work because, unlike essays and other assignments, the student can choose a special interest issue and work independently.

The research journey will be a lot smoother if the student clearly understands the big-picture of how to write a dissertation or thesis. Here are some tips to outline the big picture of how to write a high-quality dissertation or thesis without losing your mind in the process.

Step 1: Understand what is a dissertation

So, what exactly is a dissertation?

To put it simply, a dissertation or thesis is a formal piece of research that reflects the typical research method.  It’s not an opinion piece, nor is it a place to push your agenda or persuade someone to agree with you. Now, what is the usual research procedure? There are four main steps:

  • Ask a question(s) that is(are) highly specific and well-articulated (your research topic)
  • Check out what other researchers have to say about it
  • If they haven’t appropriately responded, collect and analyze your own data in a scientifically rigorous manner.
  • Respond to your initial question(s) based on your conclusions from your investigation

Step 2: Select a unique, valuable topic

As discussed, asking a clear, well-articulated question is the first step in the research process. To put it another way, you’ll need to come up with a study topic that poses a specific question or series of questions (these are called research questions).

A a few key characteristics of a good dissertation topic are given below:

  1. Clear

Your research topic should be very specific about what you’re going to research, what you want to learn, and how you’re going to learn it. There should be no ambiguity or uncertainty concerning the topic of your investigation.

  1. Unique

Your research should address a question or set of questions that hasn’t been addressed before, or that hasn’t been addressed in a particular context (for example, in a specific country or industry).

  1. Important

It is not enough to just ask a unique or original inquiry; the query must add value. To put it another way, answering your research questions correctly should add value to the field of research or the industry.

Step 3: Come up with a compelling research proposal

Once you’ve found a good research topic, the following step is to persuade your university to let you conduct research on it. No matter how fantastic you believe your topic is, it must first get approval before you can proceed with your research. A research proposal can be used as a tool to get this done.

So, what exactly does a research proposal entail?
  • You have a well-articulated, distinct, and significant topic (this may seem similar…)
  • You’ve done some preliminary research into the existing literature on your issue (i.e. a literature review)
  • You have a rough plan in place for how you’ll collect and analyze data (i.e. a methodology)

Step 4: Write a strong introduction chapter

After your proposal has been approved, it’s time to start writing your dissertation or thesis

Your proposal will serve as the foundation for your first three chapters — introduction, literature review, and methodology.

What is the purpose of the opening chapter?

In general, it will comprise the following:

  • A brief overview of the study’s context, including an explanation of the research’s main focus
  • A problem statement that describes the issue with the current state of research (in other words, where the knowledge gap exists)
  • Your research questions – the exact questions that your research will attempt to solve (based on the knowledge gap)
  • The importance of your research – in other words, why it’s vital and how the findings will benefit the world

Step 5: Undertake an in-depth literature review

You’ll need to do some initial evaluation in Steps 2 and 3 to find your research gap and craft a convincing research proposal – but that’s just the beginning. When you get to the literature review stage of your dissertation or thesis, you’ll need to delve even further into the current research and create a thorough literature review chapter. There are two main stages:

  1. Reading up

The first step is to do a thorough review of the available literature (journal articles, textbook chapters, industry reports, and so on) to obtain a thorough understanding of the current status of research on your issue. Reading and digesting the necessary literature is a time-consuming and a demanding task. Many students underestimate the amount of effort that goes into this step, so make sure to budget enough time for it when planning your study.

  1. Writing up

After you’ve read and digested all of the material, you’ll need to write up your literature review chapter. You’ll need to do at least three things to write a successful literature review chapter:

  • You must synthesise the available research rather than simply summarising it. In other words, you must demonstrate how various bits of theory fit together, as well as what is agreed and what’s not agreed upon by researchers.
  • You should identify a research gap that your study will address. To put it another way, you must explain the problem in order for your research topic to propose a solution.
  • You should base your methodology and approach to your own research design on previous research.

Step 6: Conduct your own research

When you’ve completed your literature evaluation and have a thorough comprehension of the existing research, it’s time to develop your own study (finally!) You’ll do this study with the goal of discovering the answers to your specific research topic.

The first step is to plan your research strategy and draft a methodology section.

  1. Create a research strategy

Designing your research strategy and writing a methodology chapter are the first steps. In another way, this chapter explains the “how” of your research. The “what” and “why” were explored in the introduction and literature review chapters, so it’s only natural that the “how” should be discussed next – that’s what the methodology chapter is all about.

  1. Execute: collect and analyse your data.

You’ll put your research idea into action and begin collecting data once you’ve finalised it. This could include conducting interviews, running an online poll, or using any other technique of data collection. Data collecting can take a long time (especially if you conduct in-person interviews), so make sure you provide enough time in your project schedule for it. Things don’t always go as planned (for example, you don’t get as many survey responses as you expected), so factor in some extra time in your budget.

After you’ve gathered your data, you’ll need to undertake some data preparation before diving into the analysis.

Step 7: Make a presentation of your findings

It’s finally time to share your findings after you’ve finished your analysis. You’ll usually present your findings in two chapters in a dissertation or thesis: the results chapter and the discussion chapter.

Results and discussion chapters’ difference

While the results and discussion chapters are identical, the results chapter simply presents the processed data neatly and clearly without interpretation, whereas the discussion chapter discusses the story the data is telling – in other words, it provides your interpretation of the results.

Depending on the university and degree, these two chapters (results and discussion) are occasionally consolidated into one. So make sure to verify with your institution. This section is about presenting the conclusions of your research in a straightforward, easy-to-understand manner, regardless of chapter arrangement.

Step 8: Make a conclusion and talk about the ramifications

You’ll wrap up your research in this chapter by highlighting the most important findings and discussing the consequences of those discoveries.

What are the most important findings? The key discoveries are those that have a direct bearing on your original research questions and overall study goals (which you discussed in your introduction chapter). On the other side, the implications describe what your findings mean for industry or research in your field.

ai technology

How AI is helping the world overcome the COVID-19 pandemic

Artificial Intelligence (AI), a core technology of the fourth industrial revolution, takes advantage of computers and machines to mimic the problem-solving and decision-making skills of the human mind. Initially, AI was designed to resolve simpler issues like winning a chess game, language recognition, and image retrieval, among others. With advancements in technology, AI is increasingly proficient at doing what people do, but more efficiently, quickly, and at a lower cost in addressing complex issues.

Soon after the Covid-19 hit the world, the World Health Organization signalled that AI could be leveraged to manage the crisis caused by the virus. And today, a multitude of AI-powered projects based on data science, ‘machine learning’ or ‘big data’, are being used across a wide range of fields to predict, explain, and manage the different scenarios.

AI in the management of COVID-19

Big data and AI are assisting in unprecedented speed with which efforts to combat the COVID-19 epidemic are being made. AI can be quite useful In the fight against COVID-19.

AI is utilised successfully in the identification of illness clusters, case tracking, outbreak prediction, mortality risk, COVID-19 diagnosis, disease management through resource allocation, aiding training, record keeping, and pattern recognition for analysing disease trends. The following are some of the AI applications that are raising hopes in the fight against COVID-19

AI in detecting outbreaks

The power of AI can be harnessed for forecasting the spread of viruses and developing early warning systems by extracting information from social media platforms, calls, and news sites. It also provides useful information about the vulnerable regions and for prediction of morbidity and mortality.

According to reports, BlueDot, a Canadian health surveillance business, was one among the first in the world to precisely identify the spread of COVID-19 and its risk. The company’s AI algorithms found a cluster of odd pneumonia cases in Wuhan, China, in late December, 2019, and predicted where the infection will spread next.

AI in contact tracing

In the fight against infectious diseases like COVID-19, contact tracing is a critical public health strategy. AI can be used in mobile health applications where smart devices like  watches, mobile phones, cameras and a range of wearable devices can be employed for diagnosis, contact tracing, and efficient monitoring.

AI in monitoring

AI techniques are used to monitor patients and to anticipate course of treatment in clinical contexts. As per the data from clinical factors and vital statistics, AI can give essential information for resource allocation and decision-making by prioritising the requirement for ventilators and respiratory assistance in the ICU. In COVID-19, it may also be utilised to predict recovery or mortality, as well as provide daily updates, storage and trend analysis, and therapeutic tracking.

AI in early diagnosis

Machine Learning (ML), an intelligent subset of AI,has the capacity to provide data-driven clinical decision support to hospitals. AI, for example, uses ML to develop technologies that aid pathologists in making accurate diagnoses.

CT scans, X-rays, and MRI equipment can all benefit from AI to provide more accurate and comprehensive images. Diagnosing a case of COVID-19-related pneumonia using an X-ray and CT scan could potentially reduce the time it takes to diagnose and improve therapy.

AI in telemedicine

AI in telemedicine can also be utilised to avoid the need for frequent and unnecessary hospital visits by remotely monitoring cases and capturing patient data. Medical chatbots powered by AI can also be used for consultations.

AI is used by several chatbots that examine patients to identify symptoms, connect them to possible ailments, and map the chance of a positive outcome. Thousands of pieces of medical literature are fed into the computer systems, and models are trained to comprehend which symptoms correspond to certain illnesses.

AI in the development of vaccines

ML was employed by scientists producing Covid-19 vaccines in the early phases of the epidemic. It enabled them to process massive amounts of data and detect patterns in them in ways that would otherwise be impossible.

It aided scientists in determining which portions of the virus were likely to activate an immune response that would protect them against infection while developing vaccinations.

Similarly, it discovered which compounds could be successful at blocking the virus from multiplying in medication development. AI has also been useful in evaluating the prognosis of patients with Covid-19 and determining how patients could respond to existing medicines, among other things.

To sum up, the role of AI in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic is inevitable. However, once the pandemic is over, AI will play a larger role in healthcare systems around the world in the years ahead.

AI has been confirmed as a critical non-medical intervention for overcoming the current global health crisis, developing next-generation pandemic preparedness, and moving toward a resilient recovery.

Unlock the potential of AI and advance your career to the next level. AI courses are surely going to give a tremendous boost to your career.

The Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) Project Management certification is administered by the PMI®. This certification strictly adheres to Agile mindset businesses; primarily companies that believe in identifying core problems and then doing more with fewer resources. The term “agile” is a broad one.

The PMI instructors provide a brief overview of the Agile philosophy from the ground up. The certification then delves into a hands-on practical strategy in which different training modules are conducted to further equip individuals with Agile frameworks.

PRINCE2 – Projects in Controlled Environments

PRINCE2 is a higher-level certification in the project management certification chain. There are a few prerequisites that must be met before you can take the exam; otherwise, the governing administration will not allow you to take it. It simply means that you will be able to complete this certification after first completing a few basic milestones.

PRINCE2 Certified engineers are well-known in their respective fields. Organisations place high expectations on these individuals because they are well-versed in validating employees, core project management skills, concepts about the IT project management lifecycle – and, yes, business development tools.

Certified Project Director – CPD

CPD is a directorial level project management certification where not only is the exam difficult to take, but the accredited institute also has specific requirements to keep the CPD course valid. As a Certified Project Director, you must “maintain” your certification by completing a certain number of hours in field duty.

Similarly, training sessions for subordinates count as an extra plus point. CPD is divided into two categories: formal CPD and informal CPD. They should not be confused because a Formal Certified Project Director is a professional who has earned structured online education, a proper certificate, and supporting documentation.

Master Project Manager (MPM)

Master Project Manager – MPM is modelled for professionals who aim for greater productivity at the workplace. The MPM is primarily aimed at professional project managers, but it also assists professionals in technical and business management roles.

MPM certification can help you earn extra points as IT professionals who work in their companies’ project management domain. By defining and associating management and engineering teachings, it provides a simple but effective training environment for professionals with a technical background.

Associate in Project Management (APM)™

The Associate in Project Management (APM)™ certificate is an entry-level certification in the field of Project Management.

It is an important globally recognized credential in the field of project management that demonstrates that the candidate has the required knowledge in the field confining to the entry-level of project management.  The exam comprises 50 Multiple Choice Questions out of which the candidate needs to score 70% (35 out of 50 correct) to pass the exam and the total duration of the exam is 1 hour (60 Minutes).

Certified Six Sigma Black Belt

Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), is the next certification on the list. Yes, it has a fancy name, and that name comes with a nice fat paycheck and a slew of challenges.

Another intriguing aspect of CSSBB is that it is not the only certification available in this tier. If you are not up to the challenge or do not meet the prerequisites, you can enrol in the Certified Six Sigma Green Belt program. This is a lower-level certification that serves as a stepping stone for those aspiring to the “Black Belt.” CSSBB is globally recognised and accredited by the ASQ institute. Aside from the CSSBB certification, the ASQ Body of Knowledge has 18 other certifications.

Digital Transformation Trends 2022

Digital Transformation Trends in 2022

The concept of digital transformation is quite extensively discussed in many organisational forums. It can be traced back to the mid-twentieth century where leading businesses have been on the digitalisation route for decades, even by the most conservative views.

Digital change, on the other hand, has created a new urgency in the last two years. As businesses have dealt with the after effects of the epidemic, digitisation has become an important future strategy. Looking at a year ahead, it is obvious that digital technology will continue to play a key part in business strategy and performance.

In general, digital transformation is the integration of digital technology into all aspects of an organisation, resulting in major changes in the way businesses function and give value to customers. Beyond that, it is a cultural paradigm shift that necessitates organisations challenging the status quo on a regular basis, conducting frequent trials, and becoming comfortable with failure. This may include abandoning long-standing business processes on which businesses were founded in favour of relatively fresh practices that are still being defined.

Here are some of the top Digital Transformation trends that businesses should dig more into.

  1. Cybersecurity and data protection

In 2022, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be at the forefront of digital transformation. Because online transactions have expanded as a result of the pandemic, cybersecurity has become increasingly crucial. Since many businesses have shifted to a remote working environment, improved security has become more important.

In 2022, one of the most important features of technology and commercial interactions will be security. As businesses realise that their applications and automation must be secure in order to gain consumers’ trust, security-by-default will become a need. In the coming year, you can expect a high importance to be placed on transparency and safety.

For example, Mark Zuckerberg was in the news in 2018 for a significant security breach at Facebook. About 50 million Facebook users were affected. With millions of data breaches, some large corporations and government agencies have faced privacy lapses.

  1. Business process automation

In 2022, business process automation will be a must-have digital transformation trend for businesses. Small business automation, in particular. Small business owners must use business process automation in all parts of their operations to stay ahead of the competition, whether it’s accounting, marketing, or customer service.

Automation will no longer be limited to enterprise-level organisations next year, especially as more affordable solutions become available.

According to a Gartner report, 77 percent of firms employ a combination of integration, automation application development, and artificial intelligence (AI) tools in their daily job.

AI will be able to automate repetitive or dangerous work. Manufacturing, supply chain, marketing research, and other industries will benefit from this technology too. Many organisations, notably Amazon’s Alexa service, already use this technology. Machine learning technology can aid  business with choices and predictions by enhancing predictive analytics.

  1. Cloud-based solutions

Cloud-based solutions are growing more popular as a result of their numerous advantages, such as scalability, cost savings, and ease of use. Many businesses are abandoning traditional on-premises software in favour of cloud-based options. Running corporate applications in the cloud is more efficient and cost-effective.

Improved data security is required for businesses and industries that use digital technologies. As technology advances, so are the threats posed by hackers, necessitating the enhancement of data security measures.

Cloud-based services boost cyber-security features and keep data safe for businesses. Digital innovation will compel enterprises to use cloud solutions to prioritise data security starting in 2022.

  1. Hybrid work

In 2022, hybrid work environments will be the most popular digital transformation trend. They are rapidly expanding, and their workplaces are changing as well. Employee expectations are rising as the future of work becomes increasingly connected.

In order to enhance efficiency and retain talent, businesses are being compelled to adapt and create digitally connected experiences.

As workplace standards evolve, more and more organisations are relying on hybrid or virtual connections to their workforce. Employee expectations have changed, and the work-life balance has adjusted to enable more time for activities that are not related to their employment.

To increase productivity and retain employees, businesses need to provide digital-first and connected experiences.

  1. Digital banking

Businesses upgraded their digital assets to better operations in 2022, indicating that digital transitions are unavoidable. The rate at which firms transition digitally will not slow down in 2022.

Digital banking will be one of the top digital transformation trends by 2022. From loan applications to digital payments, the majority of financial services are now available online. In the approaching years, digital banking will become more popular. In the financial sector, this will have a huge transformational influence.

You may have noticed that a number of organisations have begun to provide loans and credit cards over the internet. Document verification and other evaluations are now completed entirely online. This is the way forward for  financial services. With few clicks, you may apply for loans and pay the bills online.

5G and Internet of Things (IoT)

The 5G network heralds the arrival of the next era in mobile communication. The speed with  5G is projected to take roughly one millisecond to reply to orders, compared to 200 milliseconds for 4G. Businesses that rely on the Internet of Things (IoT) can profit from 5G’s increased efficiency in a variety of ways.

Investing in the 5G network and growing the usage of IoT in the workplace will help you cut down on all productions that are influenced by a company’s decision. 5G offers increased bandwidth, greater installation flexibility, increased dependability, and improved security. The arrival of 5G provides faster broadband speeds and more reliable mobile networks to end consumers, paving the way for a much more connected future.
