The DBA programme is designed for business professionals, entrepreneurs and senior executives interested in generating new management ideas and practices. It equips them with analytical and problem-solving skills for independent research at the doctoral level by offering learners the authority on their chosen subject, expanding their credibility, and positioning them as thought leaders.
The 3-year programme teaches valuable business management, leadership and organisational effectiveness, empowering graduates to put their skills to good use in various industries and job titles. It is an 80 credit hours programme, including ten coursework units and thesis work.

The Level 11 programme under the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) has 120 credits, equivalent to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Level 7.
